π A HUGE thank you to all the exhibitors, musical acts, volunteers, aircraft operators, costumed characters, ponies, and most importantly YOU, the public, for making this year’s Bexhill Day so very special. We’re already looking forward to next year!
π¬ Message from The Mayor:
“Bexhill Day was the perfect example of what makes our wonderful town such a special place to live, work and visit.
East Parade was lined with stalls from local charities, businesses, trades and community groups, all showcasing the important roles they play within our town. It was fantastic to see hundreds of people coming together, enjoying the sunshine, listening to the wonderful Ukrainian Singers, dancing, chatting and, most importantly, sharing plenty of smiles.
One of the highlights of the day was undoubtedly the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast. It was an absolute honour to watch and a very special moment for so many of our residents and visitors.
As Mayor, it was a real pleasure to spend the day meeting and speaking with so many people. We even met visitors who had travelled from as far as France and told us they have been returning to our little seaside town for the past 50 years β what a wonderful testament to Bexhill and the place it holds in peopleβs hearts.
Days like this donβt simply happen. Behind every successful event are people giving their time, energy and commitment β from months of planning to setting up in the morning and clearing everything away afterwards.
So, to every single person who helped organise, plan, set up, pack away, volunteer or contribute to making Bexhill Day possible β thank you.
It was a wonderful celebration of our community and a day that made me incredibly proud to represent Bexhill-on-Sea as Mayor.
This is Bexhill β community, friendship and people coming together.”
